Nancy overcame poverty and a learning disability to earn a BA with honors in December 2016. She has aspirations to become an ESOL teacher to help other children overcome their own learning disabilities, and she is creating a ripple effect of change in the community with her local non-profit that provides children with backpacks and school supplies.
