Nicole Wasmuth

'Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another' (Chesterson) and as a parent, I believe true success is based on the value you hand down to the next generation.

Nicole’s first year at Bowling Green University was shattered by a devastating auto accident. Six flips of her car left Nicole broken and suffering with loss of memory and language issues from brain trauma. Seven years later, this divorced single mother is back on the road and, as a certified nursing assistant, is on the honors track to obtain her degree in nursing at Kettering College of Medical Arts. Fueled by a passion for health, fitness and service, Nicole’s persistence and dedication are reflected in her work with community health services. She is driven to “extend the blessings that have been bestowed upon” her through education and, as a first generation college student, to set the foundation for her son.
