Jasmine Lauderdale was born and raised in the inner-city area of Atlanta, Georgia. She has experienced and battled many hardships in life, ranging from early teenage pregnancy, to violence and mental abuse to raising four children as a single parent on a tight, fixed income. Through each of these hardships, she continued to pursue her path to success. Most recently, Jasmine graduated from Athens Technical College with honors with an Associate Degree in business administrative technology with a 3.9 GPA. In 2015, she was acknowledged as the top Academic Scholar for the Business and Public Services Division at Athens Technical College. Jasmine is currently a full-time student at Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in forensic science and seeking an internship with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation next year. She is very active in her community as a resident leader of the Royston Housing Authority and is also dedicated to contributing as a volunteer to the Northeast GA Foodbank; Fusion Sports & Recreation; KANDOO Sports for children with special needs and disabilities and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She also transports food to seniors from the Hart County Clothes Closet every month. Jasmine is grateful for the life she has lived because it has presented her with a spirit of humility and selflessness.
